ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The jail on Tucker Blvd. across the street from City Hall in downtown St. Louis holds 660 inmates – 10 of them have tested positive for COVID-19.

Mayor Lyda Krewson's office says six of the cases are new arrivals at the jail and the other four were inmates who had been there for a while. All inmates are tested before entering the jail and new inmates are quarantined, Krewson's office says.

None of these 10 inmates has symptoms serious enough to be hospitalized and there is accredited health care inside the jail that is monitoring them.
