ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- The Missouri Attorney General's Office says it's resolved more than a dozen complaints connected to a problem property owner in St. Louis and Kansas City. Eric Schmitt says residents and employees of TEH Realty have complained of deferred maintenance, security deposits aren't being refunded and more.

"When we receive complaints, we try to resolve those complaints. We've made some solid progress on the complaints we've made," Schmitt told KMOX. "Especially as we get into colder weather and the holiday season, we want to make sure we get thousands of dollars back to people for security deposits, we've been able to replace heating units so people can stay warm."Schmitt says his office isn't the only one dealing with problems caused by TEH -- he's encouraging those who have been affected to reach out.© 2019 KMOX (Entercom).
