Police: 3 arrested for allegedly shooting fireworks at officers in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis County Police say three people have been charged with assaulting police officers during protests in Ferguson and Richmond Heights on Sunday night. 

Police say both Barlett and Alrammahi Bartlett threw fireworks out of a car window at officers on Sunday night near the St. Louis Galleria shopping mall. It happened while police were attempting to make an arrest, according to a press release by police. Bartlett admitted to the offense.

Aron, who is a Ferguson native according to police, threw a firework at an officer working during the Sunday night protests outside the Ferguson Police Department. Three people at the scene witnessed Aron throw the firework, police say.

Bartlett is being held on $75,000 bond, and Aron and Alrammahi are being held on $50,000 bond.
