ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Gyms, theaters, fitness centers and pools will all be allowed to reopen in St. Louis County on June 15, stated St. Louis County Executive Sam Page in his Monday press conference. He says bars will be able to reopen on June 8. But all businesses will still have to follow social distancing guidelines.

"This is no time to be selfish," Page says. "This is no time to think that you are an exception for the rules. Common sense saves lives and bad decisions will jeopardize the good work that we've done to get us to the point where we are today."
Page says the guidelines will include limits on crowd sizes, face mask requirements, disinfecting protocols and more steps "necessary to make sure that employees and their patrons are kept safe as more people are out and about."
Some of the other businesses allowed to reopen include casinos, arcades, bowling alleys, conference venues, banquet centers, community centers, museums and sporting events with fans.
Major attractions are planning to reopen in St. Louis this month, including the Saint Louis Zoo, St. Louis Science Center and Aquarium at Union Station.
