ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Police announced on Tuesday that a man has been arrested and arrested and charged with assault for an incident that happened during protests of the King Louis IX statue in Forest Park.
Terrance Page, 34, is now in custody and charged with four counts of fourth-degree assault.
On June 27, police say Page repeatedly slapped the head of a man there in support of the statue on Art Hill.
At that moment someone in the crowd poured an unidentified liquid on the older man, pictured below protecting his head, and was then attacked by a violent individual, also pictured below attacking the elderly man. 3/8 pic.twitter.com/3f42ArYcFl

June 28, 2020 The statue has been the site of clashes between protesters who want it removed because of King Louis' crusades against Muslims and anti-semitic views, and supporters who want it to stay feel it's an iconic part of St. Louis history.
