(KMOX) - Apparently, up until Wednesday agricultural products from Wakanda could be imported to the United States, with the fictional East African nation from Marvel's 'Black Panther' listed as a free trade partner.

According to the US Department of Agriculture's Foreign Agricultural Service, they put the country into the Tariff Tracker while testing the dropdown menu and forgot to remove it when finished. The list of goods that the two nations reportedly traded were ducks, donkeys and dairy cows – although no trades actually took place.

The laughable error sparked a tongue-in-cheek tweet from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, "While we removed the Kingdom of Wakanda from our list of US free trade partners, our relationship will always be strong #WakandaForever."

"I was trying to figure out whether this is someone at the USDA making a joke or if it's a developer who accidentally left it in, but I'm not sure," said Francis Tseng from the Jain Family Institute, who adds, "I definitely did a double-take."

USDA spokesman Mike Illenberg admitted, "The Wakanda information should have been removed after testing and has now been taken down."
