Member of the Cardinals organization tests positive for COVID as players are returning to Busch Stadium

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Cardinals have confirmed a positive test for the coronavirus. The person's identity is not being released, and it's not known if it's a player or staff member.

The Cardinals have begun entry screening players for their Summer Camp that starts on July 3, before the 2020 regular season begins for them on either July 23 or 24.

No Cardinals player has told the team they intend to sit out of the 2020 season, though some players on other teams have.
