NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) -- The man accused of carjacking an elderly man outside a senior living center in North St. Louis County has been charged.Police say Markel Hutton, 25, of Dellwood shoved a gun in the victim's face, hit him in the back and shoved him to the ground before taking off in the vehicle -- it happened just after midnight Monday morning near the Wellington Arms Apartments on Sugar Pine Drive. Police spotted the vehicle at a White Castle on Bellefontaine Road hours later and chased Hutton into Illinois -- the pursuit ended near I-55 and Edwardsville Road. Hutton faces one count each of first degree robbery, armed criminal action, third degree assault and resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony. He's being held on a $200,000 cash only bond.
