ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Fabulous Fox Theatre announced it will postpone more shows that were scheduled for this year.
"Mean Girls," "My Fair Lady," "Jesus Christ Superstar" and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" have all been postponed. A new date for the shows has not yet been announced.
“As a presenter of national tours, we are in ongoing conversations with producers and agents each and every week. The COVID-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc on the touring industry as theatres and booking agents across America reinvent calendars that were two to three years in the making,” director of programming for the Fabulous Fox John O'Brien says.
The Fox also had to postpone "Cats' and "Hamilton," which were scheduled for earlier this year.
The seven-show season ticket package will now open with Disney’s "Frozen" on February 10 through 21.
