Lewis Reed wins Board of Aldermen President primary

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Incumbent St. Louis Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed defeated his three challengers Tuesday night and moves on to the general municipal election in April.Reed finished the evening with 36 percent of the vote. State Sen. Jamilah Nasheed and St. Louis Alderwoman Megan Green were virtually tied with 31 percent of the vote, Nasheed edging Green by less than 200 votes.
