LOOK: Urban League food giveaway draws gigantic crowd in St. Louis County

JENNINGS (KMOX) -- With many out of work and that number expected to rise continually, hundreds of cars lined up for a food giveaway in North St. Louis County.Organizer James Clark, formerly of Better Family Life but now with the Urban League, says he'd never seen anything like it.

— Kevin Killeen (@KMOXKilleen) April 2, 2020 "Traffic goes down Jennings Station Road to 70, and it goes from Halls Ferry and Jennings Station all the way to Florissant."Volunteers loaded milk, eggs, butter and other staples into trunks -- many of those driving and helping at the event were wearing face masks. Clark said they'd keep giving out food until there wasn't any left.
