Man Murdered At Rock Hill Apartment Complex

Two people are charged with second-degree murder for Friday night's fatal shooting in Rock Hill.

St. Louis County Police say 25-year-old Rayshawn McDonald of Rock Hill and 32-year-old Themon Ryan of St. Charles are also charged with armed criminal action.

Officers say they found 35-year-old Ashland Tate of Hazelwood near death in the parking lot of Stanford Place Apartments. Tate died six hours later.

Investigators say they found a shell casing, a bullet hole in the front seat, and a blood stain inside Rayshawn McDonald's car. 

 

ROCK HILL, MO (KMOX)-One man is dead, two men are in custody after a murder at a Rock Hill apartment complex.

Officers found the victim on the ground on Raritan Drive, in the Stanford Place Apartments, at about 10 pm Friday. He had been shot. He died at about 4:00 am Saturday.

St. Louis County Police detectives have taken over the investigation. The victim's name is not being released yet.

The apartment complex is at Manchester and McKnight.
