ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - For just one day, a cinema classic with roots in St. Louis can be seen in about 600 theaters nationwide on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

"Meet Me in St. Louis" will be shown at local theatres in Chesterfield, Edwardsville, St. Charles, O'Fallon, South County and others. It's in honor of the movie's 75th anniversary.

It's set in the leadup to the 1904 World's Fair and follows four daughters, one of them played by Judy Garland, as they prepare for a reluctant move to New York.

The movie was also shown in select theaters on Monday, Dec. 9, but if you missed it then you've got another chance.
