2 wounded, pulled from crashed car after shooting north of SLU, police say

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — A car came to a crash on the Saint Louis University Frost Campus in Midtown following a shooting north of SLU Monday afternoon.

According to police, a shooting took place at the intersection of Grand Boulevard and Kossuth Avenue. A man was shot in the leg, a woman shot in the torso. Police believe the incident began as a domestic dispute and erupted into a shooting.

The two were pulled out of a smashed silver four-door sedan on southbound Grand near Laclede. Both were breathing when rushed to the hospital via ambulance.

Police say no SLU students nor faculty were involved and no gunfire occurred on the campus.
