FT. LEONARD WOOD, Mo. (KMOX) - Three tons of turkey. Twelve-hundred pounds of shrimp. One ton of beef. And two-thousand pies and cakes.
That's what it took to feed service members and guests a Thanksgiving Day meal at Missouri's Fort Leonard Wood, plus all the trimmings.
More than 300 food service employees prepared and served the meal with unit commanders.
