ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The two men who assaulted Catholics praying the rosary at the St. Louis statue on Art Hill in Forest Park on June 27 are still at large, and police are asking your help in finding them.
Both suspects are young Black men. One is wearing a camo headband and sleeveless jacket. The other was wearing a Yankees ballcap with a logo on the side, a black facemask and what appears to be a Crown Royal t-shirt.
One of the suspects accused one victim of being a skinhead. He knocked the victim down and hit him with his own walking stick. They also attacked the victim's friend who had come to his defense.
Police list four victims of the attack, 19, 31, 37 and 61-year-old men. They classify the incident as fourth-degree assault. They say not all of the victims have contacted the department, and report that other victims have told detectives that they did not wish to participate in the prosecution of the suspects.
