JUPITER, Fla. (KMOX) - Daniel Ponce de Leon is just tired of seeing Adam Wainwright win – at least in baseball games that don't involve nine innings and another MLB opponent. The Cardinals 27-year-old pitcher who made his big-league debut last season showed him competitive side in our latest walk and talk through the spring training parking lot at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.

He talked to KMOX's Chris Hrabe about finally getting to game action with the Saturday being the start of Grapefruit League play and about life in baseball after a near-death experience when he was hit in the head with a comebacker in 2017 with the Memphis Redbirds.
