ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX) — Investigators are working to learn whether the man accused of killing Angie Housman acted alone. Based on DNA evidence, 61-year old Earl Cox was named as the suspect in Housman's killing in June. Just last week, a grand jury indicted him.

Since June, Lohmar says detectives have talked with several persons of interest. Housman was 9-years old when she disappeared from her St. Ann neighborhood after school in 1993, and her body was found nine days later tied to a tree in the Busch Wildlife area in St. Charles County. An autopsy revealed she had died of hypothermia. Lohmar says his office has spent $20,000 in overtime costs scanning Angie Housman documents onto a computer to preserve all the evidence.
