ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) -- The coronavirus-related shutdowns continue -- St. Louis County announces it's completely closing parks Friday night at 8:00.County Executive Sam Page says the reason is simple: too many people are gathering in large groups. Soon you'll see barricades at park entrances that aren't already gated, electronic message boards are going up at Creve Coeur Lake, Jefferson Barracks, Lone Elk Park and Grants Trail. But, Page says in his release the main method of enforcement will be "good will and common sense," even though many directives dependent such things have been largely ignored.© 2020 KMOX (Entercom).
