ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Louis PrideFest 2020 parade and weekend celebration has been moved back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The weekend event was set for June 27-28, but it will now be held on August 15-16. Pride STL made the announcement Monday evening, saying "the health and safety of our LGBTQIA+ Community, our family, and all those who celebrate with us, remains our main priority."

It joins a number of other St. Louis events including concerts, marathons, St. Louis Blues and Cardinals games to be canceled or postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
