
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- Three more children have been killed this weekend in St. Louis, bringing the total since April to 14.
The latest happened just before 6 on Sunday morning. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the head in the 7300 block of Vermont in the Carondelet neighborhood.
A 10-year-old girl is reported to be one of three victims killed around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in an apartment on North 21st Street near Locust, west of Downtown. She was stabbed. Two other adults there were killed.
The other child killed was 8-year-old Jurnee Thompson. She was shot and killed outside a restaurant near Soldan International Studies High School on Friday night.
Police are investigating another homicide this weekend. A woman was reported shot in the head at I-70 and Grand at about 2:30 on Saturday afternoon.
Police say she was later found dead at Wren and Lillian in the Walnut Park East neighborhood.
Seven other people were shot in a period from noon Saturday through 1 a.m. Sunday. The victims were conscious and breathing.
