ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — Another officer has been shot in the city of St. Louis and the time is now to act.
After years of talking about the issues with no relief or progress to stem the violence, we are ready to see aggressive action taken toward ending the violence in the city.
So far this year, 10 officers have been shot, including a retired officer who was killed earlier this year.
That statistic, coupled with the city’s 193 homicides in 2020 at the time of this publication, means every other issue should take a back seat until we abate this crisis.
Without serious action from city leaders, this great city will continue down a path of violence and continue to get national headlines that drag our city through the mud.
