WINFIELD, Mo. (KMOX) — The Pin Oak Levee near Winfield has breached, and residents near the levee are being urged to evacuate.
The levee in Lincoln County overtopped at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Then, it breached Sunday afternoon.
Jim Sharp with the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency told KMOV the breach is "100 feet and growing." Officials went door-to-door in East Winfield Sunday informing residents they had to evacuate their homes.
