ST. LOUIS (KMOX) Updated 8:52 p.m. Wednesday — MoDOT reports I-70 has reopened in both directions.
Police shut down the westbound lanes of I-70 at Goodfellow after responding to a call about shots fired during the afternoon traffic rush Wednesday.

July 10, 2019 Gunshots went off on 70 near Lucas and Hunt road.
Police have not yet found a victim, and it is unclear if anyone specifically was targeted.
Police advise drivers can exit at Goodfellow and re-enter the highway at Lucas and Hunt roads.
Traffic on westbound 70 will be affected as the result of an investigation on the roadway. Motorists have to exit at Goodfellow and are able to re-enter at Lucas-Hunt. Thank you for the patience as we work.
