SUNSET HILLS, Mo. (KMOX) upated at 10:45 a.m. - Sunset Hills Police say the lockdown at South County Technical School has been lifted, but authorities continue to search for a suspect in the area.
The search in the area of W. Watson & Robyn Rd has ended, the subject was not located. This IS NOT related to the carjacking/shooting in Fenton on Monday. The lock down at S. Co. Tech. has been lifted. #SunsetHillsPD

July 31, 2019 Police tweeted Wednesday morning around 9 a.m. telling people to avoid the area if possible of W. Watson and Robyn Roads.
A canine unit is helping police search for a suspect described as a white male, with a gray shirt, blue jeans and black backpack, although police also say the man may now be shirtless. It's unclear what the man is wanted for.
KMOX reached out to Sunset Hills Police, but have not yet been updated with more information.

July 31, 2019 KMOX's Roger Brand reported at 6:15 this morning, police were looking for two white males in a black pick up with Illinois plates who were reportedly armed with a shotgun for a reported home invasion in the 700 block of Edna Ave. in Kirkwood. That is a few miles away from the reported lock down at South County Technical School.
It's unclear if those incidents are related. KMOX has left multiple messages with Kirkwood Police to find out if these incidents are related.
