ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The last two Stanley Cup Champions will face each other in St. Louis on the opening day of the 2019-20 NHL regular season. The defending Stanley Cup Champion St. Louis Blues will host last year's winners, the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The puck drops at 7 p.m., but before the game there will be a special pregame ceremony where the Blues first ever championship banner will be lifted into the rafters of Enterprise Center.
The complete 2019-20 regular-season schedule will be released on Tuesday and the Blues have not yet announced when single-game tickets will go on sale, but full season ticket plans are available.
