ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The easily definable key for the St. Louis Blues in this 2nd Round matchup with the Dallas Stars will be stopping Jamie Benn and that top line from Texas. Which is something the Blues and goalie Jordan Binnington have not done well this season.

Binnington is 1-2 against Dallas, allowing eight goals with a .879 save percentage - that's well below his season average of .927 this year. And Dallas' 29-year-old physical leader, Benn, has five goals in his last two games against the Blues and all but one empty netter were scored on Binnington.

So what's the secret to slowing Benn down? Our hosts of Chili's Week in Hockey, Alex Ferrario and Amy Marxkors asked that question to DallasStars.com beat writer Mike Heika:

"Honestly, leaving him alone," Heika says. "Tyler (Seguin) even said that, 'Don't poke the bear. Whatever you do, don't poke the bear.' Because once he gets mad, he takes it to another level. When he's just kind of there, when he's just playing regular game, he doesn't have the same impact as when he get mad."

In Benn's career against the Blues he has 39 points in 39 games.
