ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — As allegations of falsifying time sheets and other important documents continue to mount, St. Louis Board of Alderman President Lewis Reed is demanding SLATE "remove any shredding equipment from the premises."

The U.S. Attorney's Office is questioning several SLATE employees about the allegations.

In his statement, Reed states he's trying to keep the program alive, and feels the machines present a risk of "the integrity and transparency of the department."
