St. Louis City Bridge Suddenly Closes Amid Safety Concerns

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — A southwest St. Louis bridge is closed.

Crews shut-down the Columbia Avenue bridge, just east of its intersection with Southwest Avenue.Mayor Lyda Krewson tweeted, "they don't last forever", and that safety concerns are too serious to keep it open.
