
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — The Drug Enforcement Administration’s St. Louis Division Office invites you to attend its 2nd Annual DEA Back to School Night at the Ballpark on Sunday, July 28 at Car Shield Field in O’Fallon, Missouri.
The first 500 children ages 12 and under will receive a complimentary co-branded backpack stuffed with new school supplies from community partners.
Gates open at 4:05 p.m. and an hour later, the River City Rascals will take on the Lake Erie Crushers.
Special Agent in Charge William J. Callahan said the event is made possible through the Diversion Program and is part of the DEA’s 360 strategy explaining, “Through partnerships with local, state and federal agencies, they can provide a more comprehensive solution to the opioid crisis which continues to threaten St. Charles and St. Louis communities."
