50 FEET UNDER: St. Louis' underground haunted house opens tonight
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) — The Lemp Brewery is considered one of the most famous haunted places in America. Its limestone caves 50 feet under the street were once used for beer lagering, but are now the home of a haunted house.
The Lemp Brewery Haunted House — “House of the Occult” opens this evening, Friday, Sept. 27.
Creepy lighting exposes the natural gothic look of the arched walls and ceilings of the brewery caves. People who want to experience getting freaked out will come face to face with demons and confusing mazes inside a pitch-black cavern.
The Lemp Brewery Haunted House is located at 3500 Lemp, St. Louis, MO 63118 at the intersection of Cherokee St. and Lemp in south St. Louis.
The attraction is open tonight and tomorrow night from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October through Oct. 20, then nightly Oct. 25 through Nov. 2.
