CARDS 2020 SCHEDULE RELEASED: Yankees coming to St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (KMOX/AP) - The St. Louis Cardinals 2020 regular season schedule has been released by Major League Baseball. St. Louis will open their 2020 season on the road with a three-game series at Cincinnati against the division rival Reds beginning on Thursday, March 26, followed by a three-game series at Milwaukee.
Some of the highlights of next year's schedule include a visit from the only team with more World Series titles than St. Louis, the New York Yankees. And St. Louis will play the Chicago Cubs a two-game series at West Ham's Olympic Stadium on June 13 and 14, in London.
The home opener for the Redbirds is set for Thursday, April 2 against the Baltimore Orioles as part of a seven-game home stand with Baltimore (April 2, 4-5) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (April 6-9).
The last time the Yankees were in St. Louis was the 2014 season, when New York still featured Derek Jeter at shortstop.
Major League Baseball will open its 2020 season March 26, its earliest start other than international games. The commissioner's office also said Monday all 30 teams could play on opening day for the first time since 1968.
The Cardinals will make future announcements regarding game times, ticket pricing and ticket availability for the 2020 season. To view the full 2020 regular season schedule, visit cardinals.com.
