PICS: First fish are in the tanks; Less than 2 weeks from St. Louis Aquarium opening day

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station opened its door to show off the latest completed fish tanks, interactive areas and welcoming lobby of the much-anticipated attraction in downtown St. Louis.
Opening day is 13 days away on Dec. 25 at noon and Chris Davis of ZoOceanarium Group says not only will all the fish tanks, touch carts and virtual train ride be ready for opening day, but so will the restaurants, mirror maze miniature golf, the St. Louis Wheel and a high-ropes course which hangs above the aquarium.
There will be places to submerge your hands and let small fish eat the dead skin particles right off your fingers, "water tables" that show how streams are affected by environmental change and a virtual sandbox to build your own landscape of mountains, rivers and valleys.
