WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. (KMOX) - A group of firefighters in Webster Groves recently saw a woman tip over in her wheelchair while trying to get into her home recently. So they went back in their off-time with shovels and concrete, and built a path with a ramp to make it wheelchair accessible.
Photos of the off-duty firefighters at work were shared on the Webster Groves Firefighters Community Outreach Facebook page, last week.
"She will now will have a level pathway and ramp to gain access to her home. A huge thank you goes out to the members that spent their days off helping those in need," stated the Facebook post.
