ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - St. Patrick Center in downtown St. Louis was a flurry of activity with more than 400 families picking up Christmas gifts on Wednesday morning. A group of college women who were on Christmas break, volunteered with their moms as part of a family tradition. Their job was to greet families and distribute gifts.
As parents came in to pick up their gifts, they were shown to a hospitality room, stocked full of candies, cookies and refreshments. Twenty-year-old Dejha was there with her 10-month-old daughter.
The gifts were all donated by local individuals, families and businesses.
