ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - The Rams may no longer be in St. Louis anymore, but their legacy in St. Louis still is remembered and carried on in Canton, Ohio.

Now two former St. Louis Rams have another chance for induction into Canton.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced the 25 semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, cutting a list that originally started at 173 names.

Among the semifinalists include two former St. Louis Rams in wide receiver Torry Holt and former Rams linebacker London Fletcher.

This is Holt's tenth time named as a semifinalist for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and for Fletcher, it is his second consecutive time named as a finalist.

Holt is the only remaining key player left from the dominant Greatest Show on Turf offense to be not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Of course, all of his compatriots Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Issac Bruce, Orlando Pace and Dick Vermeil all reached Canton, with Vermeil being the latest member to be inducted.

Holt spent all but one of his 11 seasons in the NFL with the Rams. During his time with the Rams he caught for 12,660 yards and caught 74 touchdowns. While he obviously was a part of the Greatest Show on Turf and won Super Bowl XXXIV, he also achieved seven Pro Bowls, an First-Team All-Pro nomination in 2003, and being named to the Hall of Fame All-2000s Team.

It only feels inevitable he joins his Greatest Show on Turf compatriots in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, even if he has fallen short the last decade.

Fletcher will probably known more for his time with Washington, where he went to four Pro Bowls and received two second-team All-Pro nominations, he actually started his career in St. Louis as an undrafted free agent out of John Carroll.

Among Fletcher notable highlights during his time with Rams included starting Super Bowl XXXIV, where he recorded 11 combined tackles against the Titans and intercepting New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in Super Bowl XXXVI. During Fletcher time with the Rams, he appeared in 64 games, having 354 combined tackles, sacking quarterbacks 13 times, while also having six interceptions during his four-year stint with the Rams.

Among other semifinalists include San Francisco 49ers legendary linebacker Patrick Willis, longtime Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Jared Allen, return specialist Devin Hester and legendary Giants running back Tiki Barber.
