
ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Three employees of the Clayton Fire District were injured when the ambulance they were in was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 6:10 p.m. on the Interstate 64 overpass on Hanley Road. The three injured employees were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries by another ambulance.
There was also a patient on board the ambulance when it was involved in the crash. That patient was taken to the hospital in another ambulance.
The northbound lanes of Hanley were shutdown for some time due to the accident:
