
AccuWeather forecasters say the central US faces another round of violent storms late Tuesday. The severe weather could range from damaging winds to large hail and destructive tornadoes.
At least 16 states face a risk of severe weather and tornadoes from late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. That includes Missouri and Illinois.
Last week, deadly storms swept through the same regions, spawning tornadoes. At least 32 people were killed and dozens more injured from the system.
The forecast from AccuWeather for the St. Louis region:
• Today-Some sun and windy. High 85.
• Tonight-Clouds and windy. A severe thunderstorm. Hail, Damaging wind, isolated tornado. Low 67.
• Wednesday-AM thunderstorm. Then sunny and windy. High 70.
