Arrest made for abduction, murder of Clayton woman

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - An arrest's been made for the kidnapping and murder of a Clayton woman.

St. Louis Metro Police say investigators believe 43-year-old Anjuan Mosby knew his victim Michelle Hampton.

She was abducted Wednesday morning by masked men and forced to drive to St. Louis, where her body was found in a Greer Avenue alley.

State charges filed against Anjuan Mosby include: first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and first-degree kidnapping, as well as two counts of robbery and numerous gun-related crimes. He's also charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Police say Mosby also faces a federal charge of kidnapping resulting in death.

U.S. Marshals and St. Louis County Police assisted with the arrest.
