ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A children's book author with Missouri ties is set to be have a book signing event Tuesday.
Derrick Barnes, a New York Times best-selling children's book author, is set to appear at the Grants View Library Branch Tuesday night where he will have a book signing of new book Like Lava In My Veins.
Before the book signing, Barnes joined Total Information A.M. to discuss his new book, how working at Hallmark help shape his career and his Missouri roots.
