ST. LOUIS (KMOX)--"The tornado risk will be relatively low for the area as a whole," said Accuweather Meteorologist Heather Zehr. "Flooding though remains a concern."

Rainfall totals will be an inch or two in the city and two to six inches south and east of St. Louis where flooding is most likely.

Hurricane Beryl made landfall between Galveston and Corpus Christi Texas around 5am as a dangerous category one storm. The area was hit with torrential rain and winds up to 80 miles an hour.
