SAINT LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - Stifel will move from Blues helmets, to Blues jerseys in the fall.

The St. Louis based financial services firm will put its logo on the front of the sweaters. Blues President Chris Zimmerman says this gives the team a new revenue stream. "It makes us better on lots of different fronts. One of them is, we need to have the resources to put the best team on the ice."
The logo will go on the right chest. Stifel CEO Ron Kruszewski, "the combination for Stifel to be with the Blues and on that iconic sweater was just too good to pass up, so we're excited."
Financial terms weren't disclosed. The NHL gave teams permission to sell jersey sponsors starting with the new season which starts this fall.
