
FENTON (KMOX) - Residents in south St. Louis County, Fenton, Valley Park and Paradise Valley are currently under an emergency boil order as Missouri American Water makes repairs for an outage Thursday morning.
The boil order will be in effect for about 48 hours, according to an urgent message sent by the company at 8:30 a.m.
The affected area may experience a service interruption or low water pressure. The area includes those near Boyles Avenue and Interstate 44, south to Highway 141, south to Gravois, west along the St. Louis county border to Paradise Valley, north to Meramec River, east to Highway 141 South to Highway 44 East:

"At this time you are under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory for approximately 48 hours. Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 3 minutes. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses. You will be notified when the boil order has been lifted," the message states.
