Brett Blume's widow Kathy on her husband's legacy and the annual blood drive

This Wednesday, KMOX holds its third annual Brett Blume Blood Drive honoring our late colleague who lost his battle to cancer. KMOX's Carol Daniel caught up with his widow, Kathy Blume, this week, to talk about her late husband and what the blood drive means.

"The fact that you guys are keeping his name alive, and his memory, just means so much to me," Kathy Blume said. "And you guys, all of you at KMOX, have just been so awesome. So I like doing this every year, just so I get to see you all."

Kathy and Carol walked around one of Brett's favorite establishments, Dizzy's Dugout, and caught up as they remembered his life and took a walk down memory lane.

The blood drive takes place from 2-7 p.m. at seven different locations. Find all the information here:
