ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - Stephan Cannon was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison without parole for the killing of retired police captain David Dorn.
Cannon reportedly said he was sorry for what happened to the victim's family, but still holds firm that he isn't Dorn's killer.
Dorn's family, however, said the evidence was conclusive.
David Dorn was killed when he was standing guard for Lee's Pawn Shop during a night of protests that in some parts turned violent during the summer of 2020.
