BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KMOX) - Rescue crews and a dive team were called to the scene of a vehicle submerged in a Metro East lake Tuesday morning. Authorities say no one was found inside the vehicle.
The Belleville Fire Department's water rescue crew responded around 7 a.m. to Frank Holten State Park where the car was discovered. KMOX's traffic reporter Rodger Brand says the car's headlights were still on and it appeared to have just recently entered the lake.
