Chesterfield man charged after hitting woman, urgent care building with car

BALLWIN, Mo. (KMOX) — A 20-year-old Chesterfield man has been arrested for hitting and killing an urgent care employee in Ballwin.

Ballwin Police say Trenton Geiger was behind the wheel at about 8:15 last (Sun.) night, driving northbound on Clarkson Road near Kehrs Mill Road. He went off the road, hit 25-year-old Marissa Politte in front of the building, and then plowed into the corner of Total Access Urgent Care.

Politte died hours later at a local hospital after suffering critical injuries.

Geiger was arrested by Ballwin police and is charged with involuntary manslaughter, inhaling solvent fumes, and tampering with physical evidence.
