UPDATE 8:00 PM--Police tell KMOX the 9-year-old boy is critical condition but is stable. Also, the driver who left the scene of the crash turned himself into police.
KINGSHIGHWAY WEST (KMOX)--A child was pinned between two vehicles at N. Broadway/Harlan next to Hickey Park Sunday afternoon. St. Louis City Police say the 9-year-old is in critical unstable condition at a local hospital. Police say the driver causing the crash left the car and ran away. There is a play ground near the intersection of North Broadway and Harlan where the crash happened.
