ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Lion's Choice is putting a dessert spin on the iconic "Heart Stopping BLT" from one of St. Louis' most famous restaurants.
The St. Louis-based restaurant chain is launching the "Heart-Stopping Bacon Concrete." It's a collaboration concrete made with Lion’s Choice’s famous vanilla custard with extra crispy bites of Crown Candy Kitchen’s famous bacon mixed throughout.
The north St. Louis restaurant has been in business for 108 years.
"My grandfather Harry Karandzieff started Crown Candy Kitchen over 108 years ago and we have been serving St. Louis ever since. We are proud to partner with another iconic restaurant, Lion's Choice. We believe in supporting local businesses and it doesn't get much better than this! We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we do!" says Andy Karandzieff, co-owner of Crown Candy Kitchen.
Guests can purchase the Heart-Stopping Bacon Concrete ($3.29) from Aug 31 through Sept. 13 at Lion’s Choice restaurants across the St. Louis metro and Illinois, in-store, at the drive-thru, or through the Lion’s Choice app.
