ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - 'Hancock and Kelley' John Hancock and Show Me Victory Megan Shackelford joined Total Information A.M. Friday to discuss Louisiana Rep. Mike Johnson (R) being named Speaker of The House.

Hancock told Total Information A.M. that he admittedly, knew very little of Johnson, but from conversations he has had with some Republicans, they tellhim that Johnson and previous Speaker nominee Jim Jordan have some similarities.

" The best description I've heard of (Johnson) is he's Jim Jordan without being a jerk," said Hancock.

Hancock says that Johnson has a very 'tall order' ahead of him in the next three weeks.

"A lot of the GOP caucus wat him to get all the appropriations bills passed over to the Senate, amended, back to conference committee and onto Joe Biden's desk, and to get all of that in the next three weeks," said Hancock.

Shackelford questioned if Johnson being named Speaker will end the Republican Party's nightmare last three weeks or is it just starting?

"It's doesn't seem to me that anything is close to resolved and calm," said Shackelford, "He was what the fifth choice? So that doesn't speak highly to where the GOP is at right now. It doesn't strike me as they are a group of people who want to give anybody a lot of leeway or grace."

Shackelford believes the situation is far from over.

"I have a feeling that we're going to have a lot more the drama in the last few weeks," said Shackelford.
